Ana Navarro in Bathing Suit Has Beach Hair Celebwell

Nicaraguan-American commentator Ana Navarro-Cárdenas is showing off her "beach hair" while on vacation at the beautiful Eden Roc resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The View star, 51, shared a picture of herself relaxing in a swimsuit and reading a good book. "Having the best day -listening to the waves, swimming in the ocean, feeling the breeze, soaking up the sun, and reading @allendeisabel's new book, 'The Wind Knows My Name.' I'm reading it in Spanish. When I can, I prefer to read books in the author's native language," she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Navarro-Cárdenas stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

Navarro-Cárdenas lost "about 4-5 lbs a month" after visiting the Rancho La Puerta spa with two close friends in 2022. "We had all turned 50 and wanted to be healthier," she says. "I spent time there learning to cook and eat healthier, reprogramming the way I think of my lifestyle, and being more active. We did all sorts of exercise classes for hours a day."

Navarro-Cárdenas is adventurous about trying new food when she's visiting new locations. "Whenever I travel, I try the local foods. When in Rome…get out of your comfort zone and try new things. Food is culture. I'm not much of a breakfast person, but it's the only time of day they serve mangú, so I had to order it. Mangú is a Dominican staple made of mashed boiled plantains and butter. Cubans have a version of it called 'fúfú' and Puerto Ricans have "mofongo". I ❤️ them all," she captioned an Instagram post.

Navarro-Cárdenas learned new, healthy habits after visiting the wellness spa. "I also sought professional help – nutritionist, medical supervision (I was on the verge of pre-diabetes), Pilates coach (I joined a Pilates club in Miami and NYC), and pickleball coach (I try to play at least twice a week)," she says. "So it's been a complete lifestyle change -except for the rosé and margaritas, which I can't give up."

Navarro-Cárdenas loves spending time with her dog ChaCha. "Ongoing research is showing that the health benefits of owning a dog are undeniable," say the experts at Harvard Health. "Dog owners have lower blood pressure and healthier cholesterol levels, and a lower risk of heart disease, than non-owners."

Navarro-Cárdenas is open about her recent skin cosmetic treatments. "Y'all have been asking why my face looks a little younger," she says. "Needless to say, I love the question… I turned 50 and started obsessing. I baste myself like a Thanksgiving turkey with Vitamin C serum, hyaluronic acid and retinol. I get Daxxify on my forehead and I'm on my second treatment of something called Morpheus. Best I understand it, it's needling and high-frequency heat to promote collagen production and tighten skin."
